No matter what most people will think... Most commonly, people will probably say it's not real. Because how could it be? "It's made up, just like in the movies!," you might say. Or, someone religious/christian will argue that it's not real but yet, if the existence of Lucifer is proven by Exorcisms, then God HAS to exist, correct?

There's a guy over at ProBoards Support that said he's had first hand experience with Exorcism. He said he was there and after it was done, he was haunted by voices and such. He was glad they finally went away.

Here is my experience. I grew up in MI. I loved the church and God. Once I confessed a sin to my pastor and was rejected by Him- the pastor- not the church. Thus I rebelled, Drugs, alcohol, Sex, not being filled I asked satan to come inside me. I Remember being half conscience that day and feeling a winged being fly over me and enter my body. I felt fulfilled and I new satan was inside me. i could hear him. he would tell me when someone died and it was as real as day. When I realized my rebellion I repented of my sin and turned to God. I read my bible 3 hours a day and prayed for months knowing I was still inhabited by an evil presence. And then Darkness occured. I was standing in a house. I not of my own will went to lay in my bed. my Body convulsed only one time. My voice changed to a low gutteral sound and said "Devil" Slowly but clearly. Then the evil presence left from my eyes. As it left if slithered out of me in a snake like motion. Then I came out of the half conscious state of mind. I went and told my Elder I was delivered from an evil spirit and he just smiled knowing that God had done a miracle. I felt cold but relieved. I attest to this as the truth and before God and anyone else i will say this is my true life story and know doubter or skeptic will ever take that away from me! To god be the Glory for ever and ever Amen!

I am a Roman Catholic Priest, I work in ther Middle East and have not had the misery of witnessing an Exorcism. There is an Offical Exorcist in every Diocese of the Catholic Church. They are very sceptical, but holy men. It is true a lot of so-called Demonic possessions are the result of Psychriatic illnesses, or to get attention or often times to gain financial support. That is why the Offical Exorcist of each diocese is good at his job. He has to sort out the real which are few and inbetween from the bad wheat that seems to thrive.
